Tracy trained at the Swedish Institute and has been practicing therapeutic massage for over 20 years. Drawing on her love of anatomy and fascination with how bodies adapt to the demands of daily life, Tracy uses touch to explore and improve awareness of patterns of tension that have developed over time and that restrict movement and change. “The body has a sense of where it’s supposed to be... it just doesn’t necessarily know where it is. Informed touch invites us to reconnect, to get in touch with forgotten parts of ourselves.” Through massage, Tracy helps to restore balance and awareness and to allow us to inhabit our bodies more fully and freely.
Areas of expertise include orthopedic, sports, and prenatal massage. Tracy is also a certified practitioner of Zero Balancing®, a leading-edge body-mind therapy that uses skilled touch to balance the relationship between body energy and structure to amplify wellness.
